A rare and beautifully preserved vintage wooden pitara, sourced from Gujarat / Rajasthan. This rustic storage chest is a true testament to traditional Indian craftsmanship, featuring intricate geometric star carvings and a central floral medallion on its front panel.
Crafted from solid reclaimed wood with a rich, weathered patina, this one-of-a-kind chest has thick, chunky side supports and a flat sliding top. Originally used for storing grains, textiles, and valuables, it now makes a perfect statement piece as a coffee table, entryway bench, blanket box, or side table.
Each mark and texture tells a story of its age and journey – no two pieces are alike.
